Five Fun Things

Hello, it's Stuart.

I hope this finds you all well. I have five fun things to share with you.

#1. we've posted a new music video to the song They're Already Here from Music For Mortals, directed by Joe LaMattina. Take a look!

#2. big thanks to everyone who came out to the UK shows, and my most sincere apologies to the folks who were at the Edinburgh show...

Euro Stu

Hi Friends,

Stuart here. Well, I have moved to Europe. I live in a boat. A yooor-oh-peeeean boat! As you can see from the photo, traffic is crazy here. I plan to get a pony and ride him on my boat, showing Lyle Lovette just how tragic his lyrical vision becomes when enacted in the real world (can ponies swim? can they scale the vertical face of brick canals? look away, look away).

Madison, Chicago, Iowa City

Hi Gang,

Well, I'm headed into the home stretch. Have been on tour promoting Music for Mortals for about 16 months now, and have done some 130+ shows all over the U.S. If you haven't downloaded it yet, well, then... I relent. You win.

I have a handful of remaining shows in North America, and after that I'm moving to Europe for a year. So I hope you'll come on out and help me hug my homeland goodbye with sonic arms and melodic muscles.

Portland

I don't know much, but I know I'm playing Portland, OR at the fabulous Tabor Theater Saturday, May 11.

I know as a direct result of attending this show you will have spontaneous recollection of past lives (spoiler: you were King/Queen in an ancient Dynasty, your benevolence and magnanimity diminished suffering and your people flourished).

I know that if you come, and bring friends, this tight-knit group will be consecrated by the neon lights, not unlike protagonists in a Jackson Browne song.

Minneapolis + Duluth !

Oh boy. Home town.

Minneapolis.
