Just wanted to share a new video with you. This one is myself and Jeffrey Kripal discussing The Super Natural, his new book co-authored with Whitley Strieber (Strieber rose to fame with his book Communion, which was made into a movie starring Chris Walken, etc). Kripal has been one of my favorite authors ever since I read Authors of the Impossible. He brings a really insightful and unique perspective to the intersection of the paranormal and art. His new book The Super Natural is no exception, and I was lucky enough to get him as a guest on season one of Art Party. This video is an excerpt from that appearance. Speaking of The Super Natural in art...

Our feature film MANTIS is in pre-production, on target to film this October in Colorado. MANTIS is a paranormal drama about Asa, a victim of human sex trafficking. In Asa's heroic effort to save her unborn baby, she opens herself to occult intervention. It's intense story packed with riveting tension and emotion throughout. The film stars Jasmine Karimova in the lead role of Asa and is being produced by 5-HT2A out of Los Angeles. We're making great progress on financing the film, if you're interested in being involved just contact me for more info. I've been sharing the process week by week with my Patrons on Patreon, from selling the script to putting together the story bible and building the team that will bring it to life.
