The rapture didn’t come at once
we slowly fell awake
fell awake in each others ache
and what appeared was simply this

A light

the bright apocalypse
And it wasn't the end of human kind
but it's becoming something more divine

The dead were never raised
the sky never parted
one by one we were the sparks
