Lead Paint Taint

Song Of The Day: Way You Make Me Feel / Michael Jackson
Word Of The Day: Quotidian / 1, Daily; of or pertaining to every day; (of a fever etc) recurring every day. 2, Of a person; performing some act or sustain some characterisitic every daily. 3, Ordinary; everyday, commonplace, trivial.

Quotiddling / daily masturbation.

Anyway, had a rousing, resplendant - NO transplendant weekend in New York. Did a show at Alex Grey's Chapel Of Sacred Mirrors, and of course the tri-kaya shindig at Integral Naked's Weekend Intensive. I picked up a copy of Kate Atkinson's book "Case Histories" at the airport, and drooled on every page. Makes me feel like I write with burnt sticks on cave walls. Fucking Christ.

After my autoimmune blog, a friend emailed and said I should check my house for lead paint. Well, my house is fucking FULL of lead paint. Yay. We spent about $15,000 (literally, that's not an exaggeration) having lead paint removed from our home, and I think in the end we essentially spent 15K spreading and scattering lead particulates around the house. My wife and I both have autoimmune disorders, but of course the real question is my daughter. Something like 28 lead particulates (an invisible amount) will cause learning disabilities in a child. Absolutely fucking outrageous, and we already spent years worrying about it and fretting about it. What are you going to do about 28 particulates of lead? It's an amount smaller and less detectable than dust. We had crews with masks and machines at our house for months. We had people with detectors, I personally spent weeks in demolition on a room that was lead paint from top to bottom. There's no doubt I ingested an insane amount of the crap, I'm sure my wife has too. Oh... well. I hope coffee is an effective antidote, cuz that's my only hope, Obi Wan Kenobi.
